All young people need to develop key social skills to thrive in the 21st Century, all of which can be learned and developed through participation in the Bristow Center's Core Program.
The Bristow Center is a place for all children 3-18 to develop and gain the skills required to navigate the social nuances of the modern world, free from stigma and with a strong emphasis on mental wellness.
We help members develop problem solving strategies as well as the chance to practice and generalize new skills in a safe, controlled--and fun-- setting. Our program is designed for children with or without a diagnostic label who struggle with social interactions.
Your child's initial placement within the 4 Levels of our curriculum is based on their current developmental social skills set and other factors. The Bristow Center is committed to teaching our children the core concepts they lack and the ability to self-advocate, expanding on the nuances of every day social awareness.
The benefits will create stronger social problem-solvers and effective communicators. They will become more confident young adults who will maintain better relationships in all facets of their lives.
Our goal is to make sure that every member has a firm foundation in each of the social concepts taught before advancing to the next level of the curriculum.
We’re here to help your child become more confident with their place in the world. That confidence comes in part from knowing how to live and work with other people -- both of their own age and across generations.
